La Liga heavyweights Real Madrid are reportedly likely to secure the services of 19-year-old Spanish prodigy David Ruiz, who will join their reserve side.
According to a report by Spanish outlet Defensa Central, David Ruiz is the subject of interest from Real Madrid over a possible move in the summer transfer window. The Merengues have offered €150,000 to prise the 19-year-old Spanish prodigy away from Valencia ahead of the 2022/23 season.
David Ruiz has spent most of his formative years with Valencia and is currently a member of the Valencia B side. The teenage wonderkid has made significant progress in his career in the last couple of seasons, turning out over 30 times for Los Che’s reserve team.
The 19-year-old has even played in the UEFA Youth League for Valencia, and he is primed for big things at the Mestalla. But Ruiz could leave Valencia in the summer transfer window, with Real Madrid keen on securing the services of the Spanish prodigy ahead of the 2022/23 season.
But Ruiz will not join the senior team despite rampant uncertainties surrounding the future of Ferland Mendy. While the French international could depart from the Santiago Bernabeu, he will likely give way to Fran Garcia if he were to leave Real Madrid in the summer transfer window. Ruiz will instead join Real Madrid Castilla.

David Ruiz is thus a viable target to bolster Raul Gonzalez’s squad in the summer transfer window, with Los Blancos offering €150,000 to Valencia for the 19-year-old Spanish prodigy.
With the left-back slot in the Real Madrid first team not settled in the long run, Ruiz might fancy his chances of having a bright future at the Santiago Bernabeu. But, to begin with, the 19-year-old Spanish defender will move to Real Madrid Castilla if the €150,000 bid works.
