According to Calciomercato, Juventus are highly interested in signing Jorginho during the summer transfer window. The Italian giants have seemingly contacted the player over a transfer, and they could prepare an offer to convince Chelsea in the summer.
Chelsea’s situation with the sanctions placed by the UK Government in light of Roman Abramovich’s links with Russian President Vladimir Putin could have a negative effect. The regulators have included a transfer ban among the restrictions imposed, which also stops the club from extending player contracts.
While there are ongoing talks over a potential takeover, the sanctions will be in place until that happens. There are plenty of players either with expiring contracts or those who will have a year left on their deals.
