A Paul Pogba double and an Anthony Martial strike fired Manchester United to a comfortable 0-3 win over Fulham on Saturday afternoon.
Manchester United eased past a struggling Fulham side to extend their unbeaten streak under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to eleven matches across all competitions and move into the top four of the Premier League for the first time since August last year.
Paul Pogba opened the scoring for the Red Devils at Craven Cottage, slotting past Sergio Rico with a brilliant finish from a very tight angle in the 14th minute, before Anthony Martial doubled United’s lead with a sensational solo effort halfway through the first period.
Pogba doubled his tally a little after the hour mark, dispatching a confident penalty to put the game to bed and fire Manchester United into the UEFA Champions League qualifying spots.
The Frenchman was once again sensational on the day and has now scored four goals in his previous four Premier League appearances, while taking his tally for the season to 13 goals in all competitions. And Manchester United supporters hailed the 25-year-old’s influence on the team on social media;

A periodical reminder that Jose Mourinho spent the summer trying to sell Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba, get a new contract for Marouane Fellaini and buy Harry Maguire.

There were a lot of praises for manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as well, who has managed such a turnaround since taking over from Jose Mourinho in December. In fact, the Norwegian has notched up more Premier League wins (8) in less than two months than the Portuguese had managed the entire season before getting the sack (7).

Absolutely mental how Ole Gunnar Solskjær has already won more games than José Mourinho had in the Premier League with the *exact* same players.

11 points from the Top 4 when Solskjær and Phelan came in has been squashed within 6-7 weeks. Players playing to their own strengths and the clubs strengths has been a big factor. Next up: PSG, Chelsea and Liverpool. We move.
