FC Barcelona forward Luis Suarez has expressed his relief on the fact that international break comes at a time when the Catalan giants are suffering from a stunted squad following more injuries in the Athletic Bilbao game.
FC Barcelona held off Athletic Bilbao to win their opening La Liga game by a solitary Luis Suarez goal.
The club went into the game missing a lot of player to suspension and injuries. There was no Jeremy Mathieu, Gerard Pique, Neymar, Adriano and joining the list are Dani Alves and Sergio Busqets who were injured in a bruising tie.

Suarez admitted that the injuries to Alves and Busquets couldna t have come at a worse time but feels his squad has sufficient depth to continue their winning ways.
Expressing his relief over the international break coming at the right time following the defensive injury crisis, Suarez was quoted saying by Inside Spanish Football: a We know that wea re a little short on depth, they are very important players for us. We have players to fill their roles and thankfully the international break will be very good for us.a

Atheltic Bilbao inflicted a confidence-sapping 4-0 defeat on FC Barcelona when the sides met in the Spanish Super Cup, a week ago, at St. Mames.
And Luis Suarez reckons the win over Bilbao will restore confidence in the Barcelona camp.
He said: a It was hard, difficult but we had to win because we have La Liga title aspirations. We knew we were facing a difficult opponent. We won both points and confidence. We wea re concerned by what happened in the Super Cup.
