Jurgen Klopp wants Ibrahima Konate, Nico Schlotterbeck, Kennet Eichhorn if he joins Real Madrid

Jurgen Klopp has been linked with a move to Real Madrid in recent months, and he wants Ibrahima Konate, Nico Schlotterbeck, and Kennet Eichhorn.

Real Madrid have endured a disappointing 2025/26 campaign, and they are looking to make a change in the summer. They have crashed out of the UEFA Champions League after losing to Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals. Jurgen Klopp has been identified as the club’s next manager, and it remains to be seen whether they can convince him to join.

The German manager is currently on sabbatical and holds an administrative role at the Red Bull Group. According to reports from Fichajes, he would be open to returning to management, but he has certain conditions to join Real Madrid. The former Liverpool manager wants Los Blancos to sign Ibrahima Konate, Nico Schlotterbeck and Kennet Eichhorn.

Klopp has clearly identified the weaknesses in the Real Madrid team, and he wants them to plug those gaps. It will be interesting to see if the Spanish giants are willing to accept his transfer demands.

All three players could improve Real Madrid

Real Madrid have looked quite poor at the back this season, and they need to improve defensively. Ibrahima Konate and Nico Schlotterbeck could be excellent additions. They have shown their quality with their respective clubs, and Konate has already worked with Klopp at Liverpool.

The German manager brought him to Liverpool, and he is now looking to reunite. Konate will be a free agent in the summer, although recent reports have suggested a renewal is on the cards, and he has yet to sign a new deal with Liverpool. Securing his services for free would be a masterstroke from Real Madrid.

Schlotterbeck has been heavily linked with a move away from Borussia Dortmund, but he recently signed an extension with the Bundesliga club.
