According to a report from Italian publication Tuttosport, Everton and Fulham are hoping to sign 23-year-old French midfielder Arthur Atta from Serie A club Udinese, and he will cost around €35-40 million.

Interestingly, Fulham were also keen on signing the youngster from Udinese in the winter transfer window, but they reportedly failed with a bid worth €20 million.

Arthur Atta has excelled in Serie A

Arthur Atta is a new arrival at the Serie A club this season, but he has done quite well for them this term. The French midfielder has four goals and four assists to his name in all competitions. He could prove to be an excellent addition for the Premier League clubs as well.

The 23-year-old can operate as a central midfielder as well as in the attacking midfield role. He will help create opportunities for his teammates and add more creativity and control to the team.

Everton have done quite well in the Premier League this season, and they are pushing for a place in Europe. They need to keep improving the team to compete at the highest level consistently. Adding more control and creativity in the middle of the park could be a wise decision for them. They need more goals on the side, and the Serie A star could be ideal.

Marco Silva has clearly taken them as far as possible, and they need quality players in order to improve further. To compete in Europe, the London club need to bring in top-quality players. Adding a goalscoring central midfielder would be a wise decision.

Fulham recently crashed to a defeat against Liverpool in the Premier League, and it was clear that they need more goals and creativity from the middle of the park. Both clubs have the financial muscle to pay around €40 million for Atta, and it remains to be seen which of the two clubs comes forward with an official offer in the summer.
