Napoli eyeing summer move for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

Napoli eye ambitious move for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall ahead of the summer, with a deal very challenging to execute.

Napoli are once again looking at the Premier League for a productive signing, as they are now keen to explore a move for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. As per Fichajes, Antonio Conte’s side feel the Everton midfielder will add a new dimension to their plans, although a deal could prove extremely challenging given the Premier League side’s strong position.

Everton made a smart move to sign Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Chelsea last summer, with the midfielder proving worthy of the money they spent on him. He is a big reason for their late push for a European place, which will cast doubts on whether the Toffees will entertain any approaches for him in the summer.

Some clubs are already looking at the prospect of exploring a move for the 27-year-old productive midfielder ahead of the summer. Manchester United are one of those keen, while there have been other top-six sides eager to find out if a move is possible.

Napoli are the latest to enter the race to sign Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, as they want to follow up on their recent endeavours of signing proven Premier League talent. The Serie A champions signed Scott McTominay in the summer of 2024, which proved vital to their title-winning campaign, and last summer they brought in Kevin De Bruyne, while Billy Gilmour, Rasmus Hojlund, and Romelu Lukaku are also part of that list.

Once again, the reigning Italian champions are looking at another talent from England, as Dewsbury-Hall is that target. They feel the investment should be sound in the 27-year-old Englishman, as he could be another one of those signings that will further reliably improve the team.

Will Everton consider selling Dewsbury-Hall?

Everton had reportedly indicated a fee between £45-50 million might be needed to test their resolve on Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall amid growing interest in recent times. However, of late, they have moved away from the idea of selling the midfielder, as they are prepared to keep him beyond the summer.

Everton are under no real pressure to sell their best players, as their financial situation has improved tremendously over the last two years. Hence, it would take a monumental offer from suitors to test the Toffees’ resolve, as the English club are likely to find ways to keep him beyond the summer.
