Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United have been offered the chance to sign Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Junior.
Vinicius Junior’s future has once again become a massive talking point. The Brazilian international, who is one of the leaders of Real Madrid’s attack, could be on the move this summer.
According to a report from TEAMtalk, intermediaries have reached out to Premier League giants to offer his services. Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United have all been offered the chance to acquire the services of the 25-year-old left-winger.
Vinicius arrived at Madrid from Falmengo as a teenager back in 2018. The transition to Spanish football wasn’t that easy for the Brazilian. He struggled in the initial years, but eventually managed to establish himself as a key figure in the team.
Over the years, the 25-year-old has featured in 366 games for Los Blancos and has contributed towards 219 goals. He has helped them win two Champions League titles and three La Liga titles, among other trophies.
While he remains an integral part of the Real Madrid setup, his future is once again up in the air. Intermediaries have held talks with Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United regarding the potential availability of the Brazilian international this summer.
Vinicius is set to enter the final year of his deal. While he is ready to pen a new contract, he seeks a deal that will see him earn a similar basic salary (excluding add-ons) to that of Kylian Mbappe. It will see him earn close to £500,000 per week.
Vinicius’ time at Real Madrid could end soon
Both parties have been in talks over the last 18 months. While the discussions continue and Los Blancos have presented fresh terms to the 25-year-old, the two parties have yet to reach a common ground. Real Madrid have a firm stance on their latest offer. They have informed the player’s camp that it is their final offer.
Since they have no intentions of losing him for free, they would be ready to listen to offers in the summer. On the back of it, intermediaries have held talks with a small number of clubs that can financially afford to sign Vinicius.
All four clubs have the financial strength to pull off the move; as a result, it will be interesting to see if they do make a move. At Arsenal and Chelsea, he could significantly bolster the left flank. Meanwhile, he could become the new leader of Manchester United as well as Liverpool’s attack. With Mohamed Salah leaving, the Reds do have enough room on their wage bill for Vinicius.
