A host of top teams are now in the lead for Bournemouth’s breakthrough star and January arrival, Rayan, ahead of the summer.
According to Fichajes, Bournemouth’s Rayan is attracting significant interest in the market, with the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United, and Real Madrid already seen as the frontrunners. His prominent performances in the Premier League since arriving in January have sparked this said interest, as a big move could be on the cards.
Bournemouth has made some smart signings over the last few years, which have subsequently led to strong sales during that period. Since last summer, they have lost a host of their key performers, including key attacker Antoine Semenyo in January.
As a response to the sale of Semenyo, Bournemouth signed Brazilian winger Rayan from Vasco da Gama, and the move has already begun paying dividends. The winger has scored twice and assisted once in his eight games for the club so far, with the attacker already attracting big interest.
Liverpool, Manchester United and Real Madrid are all tracking Rayan ahead of the summer, with Bournemouth already anticipating enquiries. The Cherries are protected by a €100 million release clause in his contract that does not expire until 2031, which gives the Premier League club plenty of room to negotiate a significant fee.
Liverpool are in the market for a new right winger as a potential replacement for the departing Mohamed Salah. Yan Diomande is seen as a key target, and now they are in the lead for Rayan, with the 19-year-old Premier League breakout star already showcasing he can fill in the role in some capacity.
Rayan to Leave Bournemouth?
Manchester United are also in the market for a wide attacker and could look at Rayan, which could cast doubt on Amad Diallo’s future following an underwhelming season. Real Madrid are also in the mix as they plan some changes to their wide areas, as Franco Mastantuono could be sold alongside Brahim Díaz, with the Spanish giants potentially looking to invest big for the 19-year-old Premier League breakout star from Bournemouth.
As for Rayan, he would be expected to jump at the opportunity to play for a big club, particularly Real Madrid, as is the dream of many players coming from Brazil. Bournemouth would be open to selling for the right price, as they are in a strong position to secure a fee closer to the €100 million release clause.
