Khvicha Kvaratskhelia unlikely to join Arsenal this summer

Arsenal have no chance of signing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in the summer owing to PSG’s demands for a record-breaking price.

According to TEAMtalk, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is unlikely to sign for Arsenal owing to a record-breaking asking price from PSG. The Georgian winger is also happy with life in Paris, as the Gunners could swiftly turn their attention towards other targets for their left-hand side.

Arsenal are in the market for a top-drawer left winger, as one of Gabriel Martinelli or Leandro Trossard could depart in the summer. Strengthening the position has been on Mikel Arteta’s mind since last summer, but the arrivals in other areas of the squad put the requirement on the back burner.

Now, with the new summer window approaching, the Gunners are drawing up plans to bring in a left winger that suits their style and brings something unique to the table. Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon is seen as a target, while there are others on their shortlist.

Arsenal were recently linked with Kevin Schade, for example, as each of those players is likely to fit into Arsenal’s budget. One player that may be deemed too expensive is Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, amid recent links to the Georgian winger.

Chelsea are also keeping tabs on Kvaratskhelia ahead of the summer, and with Arsenal also rumoured to be keen, he could ideally be the perfect signing for either of those London clubs. However, signing him from PSG will be a challenging prospect, considering how important the Georgian has proved since his €80 million arrival from Napoli in the January window of 2025.

PSG to entertain Kvaratskhelia speculation?

PSG invested heavily in the Georgian, and it has already paid dividends following the winger’s tremendous performances last season and in the current campaign. This term, he has 18 goals and assists to his name, as the Parisians have no plans to entertain approaches for the winger in the upcoming summer window.

More importantly, Kvaratskhelia is happy with life in Paris alongside his family, which would make it difficult for teams like Arsenal to convince him. Moreover, PSG will reportedly demand a Premier League record transfer fee that could exceed the £160 million mark, which gives Arsenal no chance of matching it, as the Georgian is unlikely to move in the summer.
