Liverpool considering €45 million move for Khephren Thuram

Liverpool inch closer to signing Newcastle United target Khephren Thuram.

Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are reportedly keen on signing 24-year-old French international Khephren Thuram from Juventus in the summer transfer window.

According to a report by Caught Offside, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United are vying for Khephren Thuram. The three Premier League giants are scouring the market for a versatile midfielder heading into the summer transfer window and have set their sights on the 24-year-old Juventus midfielder. The latest report has revealed that the Reds are mulling over offering a package worth €45 million to sign him, with the Serie A giants demanding around €65-75 million.

Khephren Thuram has endured a topsy-turvy ride since joining Juventus from OGC Nice in July 2024. Born in Reggio Emilia, the Frenchman spent his formative years in France and graduated from the youth division at AS Monaco. However, the 24-year-old rose in prominence during his spell with OGC Nice.

Thuram has been in and out of the starting lineup at Juventus, making nearly 100 appearances while chipping in with seven goals and 12 assists. Meanwhile, the French international’s stock remains high, with Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United among the prospective suitors vying for his signature heading into the summer transfer window.

Arsenal may dip into the market for a midfielder in the summer transfer window, as Christian Norgaard is on the wrong side of 30. Additionally, the North London club can do with a top-class alternative to Martin Zubimendi and Declan Rice. So, Thuram has emerged as a viable target for Arsenal, with the Gunners holding a long-standing interest in him.

Meanwhile, Khephren Thuram has been on Liverpool’s wishlist for a long time. The Reds are keen on reinforcing their first-team squad by signing a versatile midfielder, as Wataru Endo’s long-term future is uncertain. Several candidates have thus emerged on Liverpool’s wishlist, with Thuram also an option worth considering.

As for Manchester United, Casemiro will depart from Old Trafford as a free agent in the summer transfer window.
