Everton, West Ham United vying for Ez Abde

Everton and West Ham United are reportedly keen on signing 24-year-old Moroccan international Ez Abde from La Liga club Real Betis in the summer transfer window.

According to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Everton and West Ham United are interested in Ez Abde. The two Premier League clubs are keen on reinforcing their offensive units by signing a wide attacker in the summer transfer window. So, the 24-year-old Real Betis winger has emerged as a target for them.

Everton and West Ham are closely monitoring the Beni Mallal-born attacker’s progress at Real Betis heading into the summer transfer window. Meanwhile, the Andalusian outfit will demand around €40 million to part ways with Abde, and a summer departure may be on the cards.

How has Ez Abde fared at Real Betis?

Ez Abde has found a stable foothold since joining Real Betis from Barcelona in September 2023. The 24-year-old spent his formative years in Spain and graduated from the youth division at Hercules CF. However, the young winger rose in prominence during his spell with Barcelona, with Xavi Hernandez handing him his breakthrough a few years ago.

However, the Moroccan international has landed on his feet at Real Betis, and he has enjoyed a solid 2025/26 campaign thus far. Abde has scored nine goals and provided six assists in 26 outings across all competitions. Meanwhile, his progress at Real Betis has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several well-known clubs. Everton and West Ham United are among the prospective suitors vying for his signature heading into the summer transfer window.

Premier League move on the horizon?

Everton’s interest in Ez Abde makes sense. David Moyes wants more firepower in the final third heading into the 2026/27 season, and the requirement will increase if the Toffees secure a spot in a European competition. Additionally, it is unclear if Jack Grealish will complete a permanent move to Everton in the summer transfer window.

As for West Ham United, Jarrod Bowen’s long-term future is uncertain, as recent reports have claimed that he will leave the East London club if they get relegated from the Premier League. So, Abde has emerged as a viable target for West Ham as they seek to bolster Nuno Espirito Santo’s attacking unit.

Real Betis will not be averse to selling Abde, and the Andalusian outfit will demand around €40 million to part ways with him in the summer transfer window. Meanwhile, several other Premier League clubs have also shown interest in the 24-year-old Moroccan international, and it will be interesting to see what the future holds for him.
