Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana has been linked with a permanent exit from the club at the end of the season.
Andre Onana is currently on loan at Trabzonspor, and he has done quite well for the Turkish outfit despite continuing to be error-prone at time.
According to a report from Spanish outlet Fichajes, Onana is not looking to leave Manchester United at the end of the season, and he wants to fight for his future. It will be interesting to see if the Red Devils are willing to give him more opportunities next season.
Manchester could use another goalkeeper to compete with Senne Lammens, considering recent reports have claimed that Altay Bayindir is closing in on joining Besiktas in the summer transfer window.
Onana has previously shown his quality in Italy, and he has done quite well in Turkiye this season. If he manages to regain his form and confidence, the Cameroonian international could be a very useful option for Manchester United.
The player cost them €51 million, and Manchester United are unlikely to be able to recoup that kind of money if they decide to sell him in the summer. Perhaps giving him the opportunity to prove his worth could be ideal. It remains to be seen what the player and the club decide.

As things stand, Lammens is likely to be the first-choice goalkeeper at the club for the foreseeable future. It will be interesting to see if Onana can convince next season’s head coach to give him more opportunities next season.
For now, the player will be focused on competing at the highest level with Trabzonspor and showcasing his qualities consistently at the Turkish club. Before his loan spell, he was quite poor for Manchester United, and he cost his team valuable points. He will need to improve immensely to start for the Premier League club next season.
