According to a report from Fichajes, Pep Guardiola is pushing the Manchester-based giants to sign the Brazilian international, who is yet to put pen to paper on a new deal at Santiago Bernabeu. While Real Madrid are ready to offer him a lucrative deal, they are not willing to meet his demands.
As things stand, both parties are gearing up for intense negotiations. City seem to be well aware of the situation, and Guardiola wants his club to make the most out of it by luring the Brazilian to Manchester.
Vinicius hasn’t looked back since joining Real Madrid in the summer of 2018 from Flamengo. While the initial years were not that easy for the Brazilian winger, he has worked hard to establish himself as one of the mainstays at the Spanish club and has already helped them win two Champions League titles.
Vinicius’ future might be away from Real Madrid
However, the 25-year-old hasn’t been at his best in recent seasons. He did finish 2nd in the race for the Ballon d’Or in 2024, but of late has been inconsistent, and his relationship with people at the club and the fans has also suffered.

Los Blancos are ready to offer him a new deal, but they are not ready to offer him the terms that he is looking for. They are not going to disrupt their salary policy for the Brazilian international.
