Arsenal and PSG are showing big interest in Bournemouth attacker Eli Junior Kroupi ahead of the summer window.
According to Media Foot, Eli Junior Kroupi emerges as a big target for two of the top teams on the continent. Arsenal are keen on the Bournemouth star, but PSG are ready to rival the Premier League leaders to sign one of the promising young French talents around.
Bournemouth have shown a knack for identifying talent early and signing them on the cheap. Of late, they have seen a strong growth in player development and their subsequent sale, which has allowed the Cherries to stay competitive in an otherwise challenging league.
Bournemouth have made massive profits from player sales, and those have been some headline names, with Antoine Semenyp the most recent one to depart for Manchester City. Before that, they have overseen sales of stars like Illia Zabarnyi, Dominic Solanke, Dean Huijsen and Milos Kerkez, among others.
Back in January 2025, they identified Lorrient’s promising attacking talent Eli Junior Kroupi and signed him immediately. While he spent the remainder of last season at the French club on loan, he has been a revelation since arriving at Bournemouth in the summer. Kroupi has played most of his games as a substitute, but has eight goals to show for his cause, as he has attracted big interest.
PSG are interested in him as an attacking option for their promising project, with director Luis Campos already on his case. For the Parsians, it helps that the 2025 signing from the bottom-half Premier League club recently signed up with Moussa Sissoko’s management agency, which also happens to manage PSG stars like Desire Doue, Ousmane Dembele and Bradley Barcola, which could make a switch to Paris easier.
Arsenal to sign Eli Junior Kroupi?
Arsenal are ready to rival PSG in the chase for Kroupi, with the Premier League leaders likely to enter the market again for a new striker. They might view him as a possible replacement for Atletico Madrid-linked Gabriel Jesus, and from a profile perspective, he perfectly suits the idea.
Bournemouth are likely to demand a good price for his sale, and may not stand in the way of the player if a sizeable offer comes around. Should both Arsenal and PSG come in with offers, the decision will lie with Kroupi over a future decision, as he could prioritise developing in the Premier League or return to his homeland, France.
