Arsenal had a fabulous summer window that has helped them fill in several holes in their squad and improve depth in a big way. Mikel Arteta is able to use the existing players to help the team contend for titles on multiple fronts, but this is by no means the end of the road for their squad-building exercise.

Arsenal need someone there with consistent productivity, and there are only a few left-wingers in the market that can match or better the 11 goals and assists Spanish winger.
Given his age and the probability of improving further with good coaching, Arteta could place his bets on developing the Spanish winger. Villarreal, for their part, are known to be shrewd sellers in the market, as a €50 million offer might entice them into a sale, considering they could make a solid profit on their €16 million investment in the winger.
