Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Yves Bissouma has been linked with a move away from the North London club in recent months.
Yves Bissouma has fallen out of favour under Thomas Frank, and he does not have a future at the London club. He needs to leave them to play more often. Mali International is reportedly the target of the Turkish club Galatasaray.
According to a report from TEAMtalk, the Turkish Super Lig champions plotting a late move for the Tottenham misfit, and talks are currently underway between the two clubs. It remains to be seen whether they can secure an agreement with Tottenham. The North London club will not want to stand in his way.
The 29-year-old is unwanted at the Premier League club, and they will look to cash in on him. They need to add more quality in the middle of the park, and selling Bissouma could help them sign a quality replacement. Tottenham signed the player for £25 million, but they are unlikely to recoup that amount for him. They might have to cut their losses on the player.
Bissouma needs a fresh start
Bissouma is still very much at the peak of his powers, and he could be the ideal acquisition for the Turkish club. He will add physicality and defensive steel in the middle of the park. He will protect the defensive unit and allow the creative players to operate with freedom.
A fresh start could be ideal for the Malian international as well. He will be desperate to get his career back on track. He has been a quality player for Brighton & Hove Albion in the past, and he has shown his ability at Tottenham as well. There is no doubt that he would be an excellent acquisition for the Turkish outfit.
If they can sign him for a knockdown, the deal could be worth doing for them. It remains to be seen whether Tottenham can find a quality replacement for him. Spurs are already lacking in depth in the middle of the park, and selling the 29-year-old midfielder this late in the window could make it difficult for them to source an alternative.
