Manchester United are plotting a summer move for Everton winger Iliman Ndiaye, with the Senegal star likely to cost a premium fee.
According to Team Talk, Manchester United are considering a summer move for Iliman Ndiaye. The attacker is a highly coveted target not only for the Red Devils, but other rivals within the Premier League, as Everton are in a strong position to demand a premium fee.
Iliman Ndiaye is more than just scoring goals in a team, as seen with his time at Everton so far. The Senegal star has been a crucial member of David Moyes’ side despite only scoring four times and assisting twice in 17 games this season.
His work on the ball, as well as the threat the 25-year-old Everton trickster brings to the table, makes him one of the most formidable wingers in the league. Ndiaye has plenty of high-level suitors chasing his signature should there be an opening from Everton’s end.
Atletico Madrid are also keen on the attacker, and now, Manchester United are pondering making a summer move for the winger. The Red Devils will be active after the season in a bid to further strengthen their squad, although their main focus heading into the summer will be on their midfield revamp.
However, a talent like Ndiaye is unlikely to be ignored if there’s a way of getting the 25-year-old Everton trickster out of Merseyside. It remains to be seen whether Manchester United are serious about the AFCON winner in the summer, considering they already have two formidable right wingers in Bryan Mbeumo and Amad Diallo at their disposal.
Everton to consider Iliman Ndiaye offers?
Everton were expected to demand a premium fee from suitors had they recieved approaches in January for Ndiaye. The Senegal international has a contract until 2029, which does give the Toffees plenty of leeway in negotiations and allows them to demand a significant fee.
Manchester United are likely to be backed financially in the summer in a bid to bring them back to the top of the table. Everton will not stand in Ndiaye’s way should he express a desire to take on a new challenge, but more importantly, if suitors like Manchester United meet their asking price for the winger.
