Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United scouting Yan Diomande regularly, RB Leipzig relaxed

A host of clubs continue to monitor Yan Diomande’s performances with RB Leipzig, relaxed about his situation, while demanding €100 million at the very least.

According to Florian Plettenberg, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are the teams scouting and monitoring Yan Diomande’s performances regularly. The Premier League trio are only a part of a wide range of suitors for the winger, as RB Leipzig are relaxed about the situation and will demand at least €100 million for the winger.

Yan Diomande is the next big name coming out of RB Leipzig’s talent pool, with the winger impressing with his performances this season. The Ivorian is now considered one of the coveted wingers in Europe, as a host of top teams are already monitoring his situation.

The likes of Liverpool and Manchester United are part of the running, while there are many more sides interested in the winger. Arsenal are also one of the suitors for the attacker, with Mikel Arteta keen to land a new left winger next summer, and Diomande is certainly a player on their shortlist.

Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United are regularly monitoring the winger’s performances, with scouting missions in Germany. However, their chances of signing him this month are extremely slim, given that RB Leipzig are demanding at least €100 million to sell the talent.

Manchester United were keen earlier, with suggestions that he could be signed for €60-70 million, but that may not be the case. For now, Leipzig are very relaxed, as Florian Plettenberg insisted is the case, although they will brace for approaches in the summer window.

Where does Yan Diomande fit in?

Manchester United recently invested in a host of attackers, including Matheus Cunha and Patrick Dorgu, with those stars occupying Diomande’s left wing spot. Hence, signing the €100m-rated talent may not be a priority, but they will see it as a market opportunity.

Arsenal and Liverpool are the teams extremely eager to land a top talent like Diopmande for their wide attacking area. They could be willing to invest heavily in the area, although there are doubts whether they will shell out how much Leipzig are asking for the €100m-rated talent, as there might be intense negotiations to bring that fee down.
