Jorgen Strand Larsen offered to Leeds United

Intermediaries have reportedly offered Leeds United the opportunity to sign 25-year-old Norwegian striker Jorgen Strand Larsen from Wolverhampton Wanderers this month.

According to a report by TEAMtalk, Leeds United will have the opportunity to sign Jorgen Strand Larsen in the winter transfer window. Intermediaries have offered the West Yorkshire outfit the chance to land the Wolverhampton Wanderers attacker, with the Black Country club ready to sell him this month. However, Everton, Newcastle United, and Tottenham Hotspur are also vying for the 25-year-old striker’s signature.

How has Jorgen Strand Larsen done in the Premier League?

Jorgen Strand Larsen has endured a topsy-turvy ride since joining Wolverhampton Wanderers from Celta Vigo. The Black Country outfit initially signed the 25-year-old on loan 18 months ago before completing a permanent move this past summer. The player was exceptional in his debut season with the Premier League club, but he has not been at his best this term.

The Norwegian international has managed only six goals and two assists in 23 appearances in all competitions thus far in the 2025/26 season. However, Strand Larsen’s stock remains high, with his progress capturing the attention of several well-known clubs. Everton, Newcastle United, and Tottenham Hotspur are among the prospective suitors vying for his signature in the winter transfer window, while intermediaries have offered him to Leeds United.

A man in demand

Recent reports have suggested that Everton will not sign Strand Larsen in the winter transfer window. However, the Toffees are seemingly combing the market for a striker, as Beto has struggled to make his mark throughout his spell with the Merseyside outfit. The latest report has revealed that Everton remain interested in Strand Larsen.

Meanwhile, Newcastle United wanted to sign Jorgen Strand Larsen in the summer transfer window, but a deal did not materialise. The continued interest is surprising, considering Yoane Wissa has been superb since returning from a knee injury. With Eddie Howe having two top-class strikers in his squad and yet to offload William Osula, it is unclear how Strand Larsen fits into the scheme of things.

As for Tottenham, Randal Kolo Muani’s long-term future is uncertain, while Dominic Solanke has struggled with fitness issues since arriving from Bournemouth. So, the Wolverhampton Wanderers striker is an option worth considering for the North London club. Meanwhile, Leeds United can also do with a striker this month.

Daniel Farke has preferred a 3-5-2 formation in Leeds United’s resurgent run, and a productive partner alongside Dominic Calvert-Lewin will hold the West Yorkshire outfit in good stead. However, the Whites have yet to approve a move for Strand Larsen, and it will be interesting to see what the future holds for the 25-year-old Norwegian international amid Wolverhampton Wanderers’ openness to a January departure.
