Arne Slot’s Liverpool are ready to table a massive €50 million offer to sign Barcelona attacking sensation Roony Bardghji.
According to a report from Fichajes, Liverpool are keen on acquiring the services of Roony Bardghji, as they look to prepare for life without Mohamed Salah. The Reds are preparing a €50 million offer to prise him away from Barcelona, who do not have the best of financial situations.
Bardghji made quite a name for himself coming up the ranks at Copenhagen. He got promoted to their first team back in 2022. While he was having a meteoric rise, a ligament injury in the 2024/25 season derailed his progress.
Despite the injury blow, Barcelona secured his services last summer for a bargain fee of just €2 million. While the 20-year-old has only had limited opportunities at the Catalan club, he is certainly making the most out of it.
In just 413 minutes of first-team action spread across 14 outings, he has two goals and four assists. The Swedish international dropped a master class against Athletic Club in their recent outing in the Spanish Super Cup. He bagged a goal and two assists in their 5-0 win in the semi-final.
That performance has further enhanced his reputation, and it seems Liverpool are already stepping up their efforts to sign the 20-year-old. The Reds are looking for a successor to Mohamed Salah, who is expected to join the Saudi Pro League in the near future.
Liverpool want Bardghji to replace Salah
They want to bring in someone who can take charge on the right flank going forward, and Bardghji seems to have all the qualities to succeed in the English top flight. He has the ability to take on the defenders and certainly has an eye for goal.
The Merseyside club are preparing a €50 million offer to prise him away from Barcelona. Ideally, the Catalan giants wouldn’t want to lose out on such a great talent, but they do need to raise funds. His departure could result in a massive financial boost for them, allowing them to operate more freely in the market.
More importantly, the opportunity to join Liverpool and be one of the leaders of their project moving forward can certainly tempt him, as he is unlikely to have that kind of role at the Spanish club, with Lamine Yamal ahead of him in the pecking order.
