According to a report by French outlet L’Equipe, El Chadaille Bitshiabu is the subject of interest from Manchester United. The Red Devils are keen on reinforcing their defensive unit by signing a centre-back in the winter transfer window. So, the 20-year-old RB Leipzig defender has emerged as a target for them.
The Premier League bigwigs are interested in signing the Frenchman on loan, with a purchase option, from the Bundesliga club in the winter transfer window. However, Manchester United will face stiff competition from Bayer Leverkusen, AS Monaco, and Lyon for Bitshiabu’s signature.
Who is El Chadaille Bitshiabu?
El Chadaille Bitshiabu has established himself as one of the most promising defensive prospects in the Bundesliga since joining RB Leipzig from Paris Saint-Germain in July 2023. A native of Villeneuve-Saint-George, the 20-year-old spent his formative years in France, passing through the academies at US Saint-Denis and AC Boulogne-Billancourt before graduating from PSG’s youth division.
The French defensive prodigy has gradually risen in stature at RB Leipzig, and he has made nearly 50 appearances for the Bundesliga club thus far.
