Said El Mala’s agent has been in touch with some of the big Premier League sides, with the winger not in a rush to make a quick move.
According to Bild via Sport Witness, Said El Mala’s agent has been in contact with a host of top Premier League sides of late. Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham have been credited with an interest in the Koln star, but the winger is not in a rush to leave the German side anytime soon.
Said El Mala has continued to attract the attention of media reports and top-rated clubs in equal measure following his terrific performances for Koln. He has six goals and three assists this term despite making only six starts for the team so far, which does make him a highly productive attacker in Germany.
There are continental teams interested in a move for the 19-year-old Bundesliga attacker, with the likes of Inter Milan and Real Madrid with glancing advances. However, there’s also massive interest coming over from England, where Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham are vying for the winger.
Koln are aware of the interest from top teams in El Mala, and are likely to demand a premium fee should they receive approaches in the January window. However, the player has different ideas, as he’s not in a rush to make any move, at least not in January, unless the circumstances are beyond his control.
El Mala’s agent has been in touch with the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham in recent days. While nothing is advancing in the background, there are chances these clubs will keep in contact in the foreseeable future to keep tabs on the 19-year-old Bundesliga attacker.
Said El Mala not convinced by the suitors?
Manchester City are interested, and so are Manchester United, but despite the calibre of clubs chasing El Mala, the 19-year-old Bundesliga attacker is not fully convinced over a move at this stage of his Koln career. For starters, he would only consider a new club if he would be guaranteed ample playing time, and given the competition at those clubs, including Tottenham, it’s difficult to make promises.
The other scenario is that should Koln force through a sale, which effectively points towards things not being in control of the player or his agent, then a move might materialise. For now, El Mala is not keen to make any movements ahead of January, as the situation could be revisited next summer, when things could be much more composed and with patience.
