Arsenal interested in Breno Bidon, establish contact

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal establish contact with Corinthians as they look to sign Brazilian midfield sensation Breno Bidon.

Breno Bidon’s sensational performances for Corinthians have attracted a lot of interest from across Europe. According to a report from Bolavip Brasil, Arsenal are one of the clubs keen on signing the Brazilian youth international and have already reached out to the South American club.

Bidon has come up the ranks at Corinthians, and he has been a part of their first team setup since the start of 2024. The midfield sensation has only gone from strength to strength over the last two seasons. He has already established himself as one of their mainstays and has five goal contributions in 100 outings.

While he prefers playing as a central midfielder, the 20-year-old is comfortable enough featuring anywhere in the centre of the park. He had an exceptional season for Corinthians, as he ended up making a total of 56 appearances across competitions.

He might only have two goal contributions, but overall play has been right up there with the best players in Brazil. He ended the season on a high note by playing a big part in Corinthians’ triumph in the Betano Cup.

His performances have resulted in a lot of interest. But the 20-year-old is keen on staying at the club for at least another season. However, European giants have started pushing for his signature.

Arsenal want to sign Bidon

Arsenal are one of the many clubs that are interested in the young midfielder. The Gunners want to further strengthen their midfield rotation, and they believe he could become one of their mainstays in the long run. As a result, they are willing to invest in him.

The North London club have already knocked on the Brazilian club’s door to learn more about a potential transfer. While no official offer has been made just yet, there is a high possibility of one arriving in their near future.

While Corinthians would love to have him around for another season, they could let him leave if a substantial offer is made. However, they are in no rush, and the chances of a deal happening during the summer seem more likely.
