Manchester United are ready to sell Jadon Sancho in January following an enquiry from AS Monaco and Borussia Dortmund.
Jadon Sancho’s future has once again become a big talking point. While the English international is currently on loan at Aston Villa, the move has not really worked out, and he could be on the move in the upcoming transfer window.
AS Monaco and Borussia Dortmund are keen on his signature, and they have enquired about him. On the back of it, Manchester United are now ready to cash in on him in January, as per a report from Fichajes.
Jadon Sancho made a name for himself at Borussia Dortmund, and on the back of his sensational rise and massive potential, United broke the bank to sign him back in 2021. Unfortunately, the move did not work out as he failed to establish himself as a key figure in the team.
After a falling out with former manager Erik ten Hag, Sancho has spent the last few seasons out on loan. While Manchester United were ready to cash in on the 25-year-old troublemaker last summer, they could only manage to secure a loan move to Aston Villa for the English international.
Since joining Aston Villa, Jadon Sancho has been involved in 13 matches and has racked up 529 minutes of first-team action, but has not been able to contribute towards a goal so far. Despite his struggles and limited game time, Aston Villa seem keen on keeping him at the club until the end of the season.
Unai Emery feels he could prove to be a valuable asset in the final stretch of the season. However, Manchester United are not too pleased with his current season; they do not want to see his value go down further since he doesn’t have a prominent role at Villa Park.
Sancho could be on the move in January
Since Jadon Sancho is not guaranteed regular minutes under Emery, Manchester United are ready to listen to offers and complete a sale in the upcoming transfer window. AS Monaco and Borussia Dortmund have emerged as potential destinations.
Both clubs have already enquired about his situation, as they consider the winter window as a golden opportunity to sign a top talent for a bargain fee. Since he has had his best days at Dortmund, the German giants are willing to once again bet on him.
Meanwhile, AS Monaco want more quality on the flanks, and they feel moving to France could help the English international revive his career. Since he is still on loan at Aston Villa, it will be interesting to see how things pan out.
