Meanwhile, the Lilywhites are open to sanctioning a loan exit for the Welsh international in the winter transfer window.

Brennan Johnson has endured a topsy-turvy ride since joining Tottenham Hotspur from Nottingham Forest in September 2023. Born in Nottingham, the 24-year-old spent his entire youth career with the Midlands club after joining them at the age of eight. However, he has been in and out of the starting lineup during his spell with Tottenham, with his stock falling in the 2025/26 season.
Johnson has managed only 907 minutes of game time across 21 appearances this term while chipping in with four goals.
