Club Brugge would prefer not to part ways with 23-year-old Greek winger Christos Tzolis in the winter transfer window amid his links with Premier League clubs.
According to an update by Turkish journalist Ekrem Konur, Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, Tottenham Hotspur, and West Ham United are interested in Christos Tzolis. Several other high-profile clubs are also keen on signing the Club Brugge winger. However, the Belgian giants are unwilling to cash in on the Greek international in the winter transfer window.
How has Christos Tzolis risen in prominence?
Christos Tzolis has established himself as one of the best players in the Jupiler Pro League since joining Club Brugge from Fortuna Dusseldorf in July 2024. The 23-year-old spent most of his formative years in his homeland and graduated from the youth division at hometown club PAOK Thessaloniki. However, after enduring a topsy-turvy ride in England and Germany, the youngster has risen in prominence during his spell with Club Brugge.
The Greek international has been excellent in the last 18 months, and he has has enjoyed an exceptional first half of the 2025/26 season, scoring 11 goals and providing 12 assists in 29 outings thus far. Meanwhile, Tzolis’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several well-known clubs. Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, Tottenham Hotspur, and West Ham United are among the prospective suitors vying for his signature in the winter transfer window.
A man in demand
Aston Villa will dip into the market for a versatile attacker in the winter transfer window, as Unai Emery wants more firepower in the final third. With Evann Guessand slow off the blocks at the West Midlands club, a productive winger is the need of the hour. So, Tzolis is a viable target for Aston Villa.
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace wanted to sign Christos Tzolis in the summer transfer window, but the deal did not materialise. The continued interest is understandable, as Eberechi Eze’s void in the offensive unit remains despite Yeremy Pino’s solid displays in the final third this term. As for West Ham United, Jarrod Bowen has been the only reliable attacker for the East London club.
So, Nuno Espirito Santo can do with more firepower in the final third, and Tzolis is an option worth considering. Meanwhile, Tottenham will be eager to fill Son Heung-min’s void in the next two transfer window, and Thomas Frank wants the North London club to land a dependable winger.
However, a winter move for the Club Brugge winger may not materialise, as the Belgian giants are unwilling to part ways with him in the coming weeks. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for the 23-year-old Greek winger.
