Mohamed Salah almost certain to move to Saudi Pro League amid interest from five other leagues

Liverpool attacker, Mohamed Salah, has been linked with a move away from the Merseyside club in recent weeks.

Mohamed Salah recently dropped the bombshell in an interview, criticising the Liverpool manager and accusing Arne Slot of forcing him out of the club. There have been peace talks between the two since then, and Salah was handed an opportunity to play against Brighton & Hove Albion recently. However, it seems that he could be on his way out of the club soon.

According to a report by TEAMtalk, it is almost certain that he will move to the Saudi Pro League, even though clubs from five other leagues are keen on securing his services.

Other clubs from multiple leagues are interested in the Liverpool talisman, who cost the Merseyside club €39 million in 2017. It will be interesting to see where he ends up. There is no doubt that he is a world-class player on his day.

Salah was outstanding for Liverpool last season and he helped them win the league title. The veteran attacker has helped Liverpool win every single trophy at club level, and there is no doubt that he is one of the best players in Premier League history. It remains to be seen whether he decides to move to Saudi Arabia.

Salah set for Saudi switch?

At this stage of his career, the opportunity to move to the Middle East could suit him. He is likely to pocket a lucrative contract as well. Meanwhile, Liverpool will need to work towards replacing him properly. The 33-year-old is one of the best players in the club’s history, and replacing him will not be easy.

Liverpool will need to bring in someone who can score goals consistently and create opportunities for his teammates as well. The Egyptian has shown signs of decline this season. There is no doubt that the experienced winger is a top-class player, but he is nearing the end of his peak.

This could be the right time for Liverpool to cash in on him and invest in a younger player with more potential. It will be interesting to see who they end up signing. Meanwhile, Salah will look to get back to his best once again. It will be interesting to see if he decides to stay at Liverpool until the end of the season and guide them to another trophy before leaving.
