Who is Tarik Muharemovic?
Tarik Muharemovic has established himself as one of the best young defensive prospects in Serie A this season. The 22-year-old spent most of his formative years in Austria but graduated from the youth division at Juventus after arriving in Italy in 2021. However, the youngster could not establish a foothold at the Allianz Stadium, and Sassuolo initially signed him on loan in August 2024.
The Neroverdi completed a permanent move this past summer, and he has been impressive in his debut Serie A campaign. Several candidates, including Axel Disasi, have thus emerged on the Tyneside club’s wishlist, with Muharemovic also a viable target.
