Tottenham and West Ham United are part of the race for Nathaniel Brown, with Manchester United and Arsenal also interested.
According to Team Talk, Nathaniel Brown is attracting massive interest from Premier League sides ahead of the January window. The Eintracht Frankfurt star has been putting in some impressive performances in the Bundesliga, as the likes of Tottenham and West Ham are now part of the running alongside Arsenal and Manchester United.
Premier League clubs are always on the lookout for the best talent in other leagues, as some of the top sides in England may have stumbled upon a defensive target. Eintracht Frankfurt’s left back Nathaniel Brown is that player on the radar of some of the Englihs top flight sides.
Brown has developed a reputation in Frankfurt with his displays and was even capped by Germany twice. His assist against Barcelona in the Champions League has caught further attention of some of his suitors, as Tottenham and West Ham United join the race for the left-back.
The German side are set to demand in excess of £50 million for their star left-back, and might be open to the idea of selling in January. The defender is thought to be open to the idea of joining one of the Premier League sides, as there are more than the aforementioned duo, as Manchester United and Arsenal are also among those interested.
The idea of joining West Ham may be way down on Brown’s wishlist, given the other teams that are keen. The Hammers are certainly looking for defensive reinforcements in that area of the pitch, but they might lose out to their more prestigious rivals in the race for the £50 million-plus-rated Bundesliga full-back.
Nathaniel Brown to the Premier League?
The Tottenham interest could be something to look at, given they have an injury to Destiny Udogie, which leaves only Djed Spence and Ben Davies as the options in the area. They are interested in signing a new centre-back with Brighton’s Jan Paul van Hecke a target, which could be designed in pushing Micky van de Ven as a left-back option, although Brown could be a more comprehensive plan.
As for the interest from Arsenal and Manchester United, both teams are constantly looking at options in the market to strengthen all areas. The left back position is not something of a concern for either side, but should a player like the £50 million-plus-rated Bundesliga full-back become available, they might look into it.
