Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are all keeping track of Arda Guler as the Premier League sides could approach Real Madrid with proposals.
According to Caught Offside, Arda Guler is a name active on the list of some of the top Premier League sides. Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are among those interested in the 20-year-old Real Madrid whizkid, as the Spanish giants could anticipate approaches despite their stance on the Turkish star.
Arda Guler has shown his talent under Xabi Alonso, playing in multiple roles under the Spanish head coach. His ability to play centrally in an attacking role, as well as on the wide areas, makes him an intelligent player on many accounts, which has attracted massive interest from the Premier League.
Manchester City have a formula to test Real Madrid’s resolve on the player, while neighbours Manchester United are now seriously considering a move. Ruben Amorim would like to add another creative spark to his squad and could look at the 20-year-old Real Madrid whizkid to become a solid addition to the squad.
Manchester United could potentially test Real Madrid’s resolve with a firm offer in the future, although currently the Red Devils are well equipped in attacking areas, the Turkish star likes to occupy. Meanwhile, Liverpool are also interested in Guler, as Arne Slot likes his versatility to an extent that he feels he could play a stellar role at the Merseyside club.
Liverpool could also view him as a possible replacement for Mohamed Salah, with the Egyptian’s immediate future called into question. However, any deal from the Merseysiders is likely to happen in the summer, as they will keep track of the player until then.
Arsenal are interested, but are Real Madrid willing to sell Arda Guler?
Arsenal also have a long-standing interest in Guler, with some reports back in the summer pointing at a potential approach. Mikel Arteta likes players who could occupy multiple positions, and the 20-year-old Real Madrid whizkid has certainly shown that plenty of times. The Gunners are also linked with Kenan Yildiz, who is Guler’s international teammate and a similar player, who likes to lean towards the left-hand side.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid had no interest in selling Guler previously, and could stand by their stance on the 20-year-old. They view the Turkish international as a key part of their future planning alongside the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham, meaning the Premier League giants could face disappointments. However, those teams might still test with an offer, which will reveal plenty about Real Madrid’s thinking.
