Eintracht Frankfurt will likely part ways with 22-year-old German international Nathaniel Brown next year amid his links with Arsenal, Manchester United, and Real Madrid.
According to a report by German outlet BILD, Arsenal, Manchester United, and Real Madrid are interested in Nathaniel Brown. The three European bigwigs are scouring the market for a left-back and have set their sights on the Eintracht Frankfurt mainstay. The German international may be available for a deal next year, with the Bundesliga club likely to part ways with him.
Who is Nathaniel Brown?
Nathaniel Brown has established himself as one of the best young prospects in the Bundesliga since joining Eintracht Frankfurt from FC Nurnberg. Die Adler initially signed the 22-year-old on loan in January 2024 before completing a permanent move in the subsequent summer transfer window. He has made over 50 appearances thus far for the Bundesliga club while chipping in with four goals and ten assists.
Meanwhile, the German full-back’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several high-profile clubs. Arsenal, Manchester United, and Real Madrid are among the prospective suitors vying for his signature. Meanwhile, Eintracht Frankfurt will likely part ways with the youngster next year due to “pressure” to do so.
A man in demand
It is surprising that the Amberg native has emerged as a target for Arsenal. While Mikel Arteta has no recognised left-back in his squad, Riccardo Calafiori and Myles Lewis-Skelly have excelled in the role. Additionally, Piero Hincapie is a top-notch alternative if he remains at Arsenal in the long run.
Meanwhile, Manchester United’s interest in Nathaniel Brown is understandable. While Ruben Amorim has Diego Leon and Patrick Dorgu in his squad, he needs more quality and productivity from the left wing-back berth, particularly due to poor deliveries from the wing. So, Brown is a viable target for Manchester United.
As for Real Madrid, Xabi Alonso has three left-backs in his squad. So, unless the Merengues plan to offload Ferland Mendy and Fran Garcia next year, it is unclear how Brown fits into the scheme of things at the Santiago Bernabeu, particularly with Alvaro Carreras being arguably the best left-back in La Liga. Nevertheless, the Eintracht Frankfurt mainstay is a target for Real Madrid ahead of next summer.
Meanwhile, the Bundesliga outfit will be “under pressure” to part ways with Brown next year, thus boosting the prospects of Arsenal, Manchester United, and Real Madrid. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for the 22-year-old German international.
