Barcelona, Liverpool, and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on signing 20-year-old Norwegian winger Antonio Nusa from Bundesliga club RB Leipzig.
According to an update by Turkish journalist Ekrem Konur, Barcelona, Liverpool, and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Antonio Nusa. The three European bigwigs are keen on reinforcing their offensive units by signing a versatile attacker next year. So, the 20-year-old RB Leipzig winger has emerged as a target for them, with AS Roma, Inter Milan, and Napoli also vying for his signature.
How has Antonio Nusa fared at RB Leipzig?
Antonio Nusa has established himself as one of the most promising young attackers in the Bundesliga since joining RB Leipzig from Club Brugge in August 2024. A native of Langhus, the youngster spent his formative years in Norway and graduated from the youth division at Stabaek IF. However, the 20-year-old rose in prominence during his spell with Club Brugge.
The Norwegian winger has made considerable progress in the last 15 months, although his output can improve. Nusa has made nearly 50 appearances thus far for RB Leipzig while chipping in with six goals and eight assists. Meanwhile, the youngster’s progress has piqued the attention of several well-known clubs, with Barcelona, Liverpool, and Tottenham Hotspur vying for his signature.
A man in demand
The Langhus native has been on Barcelona’s radar for a long time. The continued interest makes sense, as it is unclear if Marcus Rashford will complete a permanent move to Spotify Camp Nou next summer. So, the reigning La Liga champions have kept their options open, with Nusa a viable target.
Meanwhile, Antonio Nusa has also been a target for Liverpool for a long time, and they mulled over a summer move for the RB Leipzig winger. The continued interest is understandable, as the Reds are in a spot of bother over Mohamed Salah’s long-term future. Additionally, Nusa can be an alternative to Cody Gakpo on the left flank. So, the youngster is an option worth considering for Liverpool.
As for Tottenham Hotspur, Son Heung-min has left a gaping hole in the offensive unit at the North London outfit. So, the Lilywhites need a long-term option on the flanks, with Nusa emerging as a viable target. However, Tottenham will face stiff competition from five other clubs for his signature.
Apart from the three European bigwigs, AS Roma, Inter Milan, and Napoli are also vying for Nusa’s signature. So, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for the 20-year-old Norwegian international.
