Andre Onana is keen on fighting for his future at Old Trafford, although he would be open to joining another Premier League side in the future.
According to i Paper, Andre Onana is not giving up on his Manchester United future, with the loanee keen to resurrect his career at Old Trafford. Should the Red Devils decide to part ways with the Cameroonian international next summer, he might be open to joining another English side to keep his Premier League dream alive.
Manchester United made a big u-turn on their decision to keep Andre Onana back in the summer, following a disastrous few games before the window shut. The performance against lower league side Grimsby Town, which saw the Red Devils bow out of the Carabao Cup, was probably the tipping point.
With a few days left in the window, Trabzonspor secured a loan agreement for Onana, which has been a relief for the majority of the fanbase at Old Trafford. He has been very good with his displays for the Turkish side, who are eager to keep hold of him longer than his loan term.
However, Andre Onana is eager to resurrect his Manchester United career when he returns from his loan spell. The Cameroonian stopper believes he has a future at Old Trafford despite the manner of his temporary exit. Whether the club agrees to the same notion remains to be seen.
Should the Red Devils decide against integrating Onana back into the mix next season, he might even prefer to join another English side to keep his Premier League dream alive. For now, the Manchester United loanee is focused on his performances in Turkey, as he will take a firm call on his future once the loan spell ends.
Manchester United may not want Andre Onana
Manchester United are ready to sell Onana next summer when he returns from his loan spell at Trabzonspor. The arrival of Senne Lammens has been a game-changer, with the Belgian stopper managing to put together error-free displays and is now seen as the current and future No.1 at the club.
Andre Onana may have to find a solution to his future, as it is clearly not at Old Trafford and certainly not with Ruben Amorim in charge. He may have a few Premier League suitors willing to take the bet on the Manchester United loanee, but if that was the case, then the interest was clearly not visible last summer when he was available.
