Eintracht Frankfurt believe they can sign William Osula for less than €25 million

Eintracht Frankfurt are optimistic about securing the services of Newcastle United striker William Osula for less than €25 million.

Eintracht Frankfurt will return for William Osula’s signature in the winter transfer window. They are already planning ahead as they look to make him their first signing of 2026. According to BILD via Sport Witness, the Bundesliga club believe they can secure the services of the Newcastle striker for just under €25 million.

After making a name for himself at Sheffield United, Osula joined the Tyneside club in the summer of 2024. The move has not really worked out for the 22-year-old striker, as he was involved in just 19 games during his debut campaign.

He racked up less than 500 minutes of first-team action. Osula was not pleased with the limited game time, and he was ready to leave the club in the summer. Even Newcastle United were willing to negotiate his departure.

Eintracht Frankfurt emerged as a potential destination for the Danish striker. The Bundesliga club were hoping to secure his services on transfer deadline day. While William Osula was ready to make the move, the transfer collapsed in the final minutes.

Despite failing to sign him in the summer, Eintracht Frankfurt have not given up just yet. They retain interest in him and have been in touch with his camp every now and then. Dino Toppmoller is a big admirer of the 22-year-old and has held talks with him.

Eintracht Frankfurt are confident about signing Osula

William Osula remains keen on joining them, and Eintracht Frankfurt’s sporting director, Markus Krosche, is planning well in advance to secure his signing in the winter window. While the window is still three months away, the Bundesliga club want to ensure everything is in place for the move to go through this time around.

They are confident about signing the Danish youth international for just under €25 million, as the Magpies were not the ones who blocked the move on deadline day. They would have even accepted a loan deal with a buy option.

Their Saudi Arabian owners informed the club that no more players were to be sold minutes before the deadline; as a result, Osula ended up staying at St. James’ Park. Eintracht Frankfurt are now working hard to ensure they get their man in the winter window.
