The Spanish international has “finalised a deal that has aligned his wages with most of the Premier League’s top goalkeepers” at around £150,000 per week. He currently pockets a £100,000-a-week salary, and only Gianluigi Donnarumma makes more among Premier League shot-stoppers.

David Raya has established himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League since joining Arsenal from Brentford. The Spaniard has been in England since July 2012, and he graduated from the youth division at Blackburn Rovers. However, he rose in prominence during his productive spell with Brentford.
