Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus has been linked with a move away from the North London outfit, with multiple clubs keen on him.
According to an update by Turkish journalist Ekrem Konur, Everton and AC Milan are interested in signing Gabriel Jesus. However, they will have to pay around £30-35 million to get the deal done, with the valuation troubling the Rossoneri.
The 28-year-old does not have a future at Arsenal, and he needs to leave the club to play more often. Joining Everton or Milan could be ideal for him. Everton are desperate for more quality in the attack, and the Brazilian striker would be a superb acquisition.
Gabriel Jesus is capable of operating anywhere across the front three, and he will add goals and creativity to the side. Meanwhile, the former Manchester City attacker is at the peak of his career, and he could make an instant impact. He knows the Premier League well, and he could improve Everton immediately.
Meanwhile, the opportunity to move to AC Milan will be exciting for the player as well. The Serie A outfit are one of the biggest clubs in the world, and the opportunity to play for them will be exciting for the Brazilian. It would be the ideal step in his career. He needs to play more often at this stage of his career.
Sitting on the bench at Arsenal will not benefit him. AC Milan need more attacking depth, and they could accommodate the 28-year-old in the starting lineup. However, Gabriel Jesus is also a target for other clubs, including Flamengo.
Arsenal must reduce their demands
Arsenal’s the asking price could be a problem for AC Milan and Everton. It remains to be seen whether the Gunners are prepared to be more reasonable with their demands. There is no doubt that Jesus is a quality player, but he has not been at his best for a while. Paying £30-35 million for him would be a gamble for any team.
Arsenal will be desperate to get rid of the Brazilian international in the coming months. The North London outfit are well stocked in the attacking department, and they will not be able to provide him with opportunities.
It does not make sense for him to stick around as a squad player. Also, his valuation is likely to drop further if he continues to sit on the bench at Arsenal. It would be wise of the North London club to sell him for a reasonable amount of money as soon as possible.
