Tottenham are scouting 19-year-old Brazilian winger Rayan Vitor Simplicio Rocha ahead of future windows, who has a €40 million release clause.
According to Atnecao Vascainos, Tottenham are one of the two clubs keeping close tabs on Brazilian winger Rayan Vitor Simplicio Rocha. Spurs are watching him in action, as they ponder making a move ahead of the January window, with the club keen to bolster their wide option, as there’s a €40 million release clause in the Vasco Da Gama star’s contract.
Vasco Da Gama have a big talent on their hands in winger Rayan Vitor Simplicio Rocha, who is turning heads over in Europe. The complexity of the Brasileirao compared to their counterparts over in Europe means it is often tricky to get some important targets during the summer.
However, as the Brasileirao Serie A season ends in late December, the winter transfer window might prove favourable for European sides to sign a few notable players. For instance, Rayan Vitor is one of those looked at by a few clubs, including Tottenham, ahead of January.
Spurs sought information on the winger earlier this year, as they pondered making a bid in the summer. During the recently concluded transfer window, they chased Manchester City star Savinho, and with the winger now set to sign a new deal at the Etihad, the chances of a move to north London seem impossible.
Spurs are also interested in AS Monaco’s Maghnes Akliouche as an alternative to Savinho and now they are ready to revisit their admiration of Rayan Vitor. Spurs observers are consistently watching the winger in action, who has a €40 million release clause attached to his Vasco Da Gama contract.
Vasco Da Gama could sell Rayan Vitor Simplicio Rocha
Tottenham are now alone in the race, as the report states the presence of a major Spanish side. Arsenal were also interested earlier in the year, although it appears Spurs are making headway in the race. The €40 million-rated teenage Brazilian attacking sensation’s contract ends at the end of 2026, as Vasco Da Gama wants to keep him at least until the end of the current Brasileiro season.
Hence, there is a big possibility of a move to Tottenham or another European club in the January window. Spurs are also likely to drive a hard bargain for the player who will effectively have a year left on his deal, meaning they could look to pay considerably less for the €40 million-rated teenage Brazilian attacking sensation.
