The Villans are keen on reinforcing their first-team squad by signing a holding midfielder in the summer transfer window. So, the 21-year-old Barcelona whizkid has emerged as a target for the West Midlands outfit.
The Villans have submitted a bid worth €30 million, Barcelona’s asking price, to sign the Spaniard. Additionally, Aston Villa will be willing to quadruple Casado’s wages to tempt him to move to Villa Park. However, the youngster’s decision is pending, and it is unclear if he is ready to part ways with Barcelona in the summer transfer window.
