Everton will reportedly look to sign 23-year-old Georgian winger Zuriko Davitashvili from Ligue 2 club US Saint-Etienne in the summer transfer window.
According to a report by French outlet Foot Mercato, Zuriko Davitashvili is the subject of interest from Everton. The Toffees are keen on reinforcing their offensive unit by signing a wide attacker in the summer transfer window. So, the 23-year-old US Saint-Etienne winger has emerged as a target for the Merseyside outfit. Meanwhile, Everton will face stiff competition from four other clubs for his signature.
Who is Zuriko Davitashvili?
Zuriko Davitashvili has been a rare bright spot since joining US Saint-Etienne from Girondins Bordeaux last summer. A native of Tbilisi, the young winger spent his formative years in his homeland and graduated from the youth division at Dinamo Tbilisi. Since then, he has represented clubs in Georgia, Russia, and France.
The 23-year-old winger was productive in a dreadful campaign for US Saint-Etienne, with the French club suffering relegation to Ligue 2 after an underwhelming 2024/25 campaign. The young winger contributed to 17 goals in 33 Ligue 1 appearances by finding the back of the net nine times and providing eight assists.
Meanwhile, Saint-Etienne’s relegation to Ligue 2 means they may lose Davitashvili, with several well-known clubs across Europe vying for his services. Stade Rennais, RC Strasbourg, Sevilla, and Borussia Monchengladbach are among the prospective suitors vying for the Georgian winger’s signature. But Everton will aim to beat them to his signature in the summer transfer window.
Premier League move on the horizon?
Everton’s interest in Zuriko Davitashvili is understandable. The Toffees are scouring the market for a new wide attacker this summer after choosing not to complete permanent moves for Jesper Lindstrom and Jack Harrison after their loan moves expired.
Several candidates, including Tyler Dibling, have emerged on Everton’s radar, with Davitashvili also a viable target for the Merseyside outfit. However, as iterated earlier, Everton will face stiff competition from four other well-known European clubs for his signature in the summer transfer window.
With Stade Rennais, RC Strasbourg, Sevilla, and Borussia Monchengladbach also vying for the 23-year-old Georgian winger’s signature, Everton may face a tall order to secure his services in the summer transfer window.
