Tyrell Malacia could head to Saudi Arabia this summer

Manchester United outcast Tyrell Malacia could end up joining a Saudi Pro League club ahead of next season.

According to a report from Voetbal International, Tyrell Malacia could soon end up parting ways with Manchester United. The Dutch international could be heading to the Middle East as a Saudi Pro League club have tabled a concrete offer for the full-back.

Malacia came up the ranks at Feyenoord and made a name for himself while playing for their first team before joining United in the summer of 2022. While he had a decent debut campaign at Old Trafford, things only went downhill for him post that.

He missed the entire 2023/24 season because of a serious injury and hasn’t been able to return to his best since. The 25-year-old full-back spent the second half of last season on loan at PSV Eindhoven. While he was hoping to turn things around, the move didn’t really work out in his favour, even though he did feature in 12 outings.

Malacia is back at his parent club, but he is not a part of Ruben Amorim’s plans moving ahead. With just a year left on his deal, the Red Devils are keen on cashing in on the Dutch full-back.

Malacia could move to the Middle East

Despite all his recent struggles, he still has an attractive profile for quite a few top clubs in Europe. While multiple clubs have enquired about him, finally, the first concrete offer for his signature came in from the Middle East on Friday.

A Saudi Pro League club seems to be very keen on signing Malacia. While it is still unclear which club wants him, they certainly have the financial might to lure him away, and the 25-year-old is seriously considering moving to the Middle East.

Not only will they be able to match his €7 million, but the Saudi Arabian club might even offer him more money to make the switch. Malacia remains in talks with the club, and if he gives the green light, they could end up making a significant offer in the near future.
