It is no secret that they need quality attackers, and they need to replace someone like Darwin Nunez during the summer transfer window if they are serious about winning major trophies again.
The South American scored just seven goals last season, and Liverpool cannot afford to have him leading the line for them. Isak would be an exceptional acquisition. The Swede is undoubtedly the best striker in the Premier League right now, and he was outstanding for Newcastle United last season.
Isak helped the Tyneside outfit win the EFL Cup and secure UEFA Champions League qualification as well. If Liverpool can sign him, it would be an excellent acquisition for them. Similarly, Ekitike did quite well in Germany, and he had 34 goal contributions last term. The Frenchman is a talented player with a bright future, and he could develop into a key player for Liverpool in the long run.
Can Liverpool afford the two players?
