Manchester United submit £60 million-plus offer to sign Bryan Mbeumo

Manchester United have reportedly submitted an improved offer to sign Brentford attacker Bryan Mbeumo in the summer transfer window.

According to an update by Ben Jacobs, Manchester United have made their second offer to sign Bryan Mbeumo, and it remains to be seen whether Brentford are willing to accept it.

The Cameroonian international is one of their best players, and he would be an excellent acquisition for Manchester United. Mbeumo has 20 goals to his name in all competitions, and he picked up 9 assists along the way as well. There is no doubt that he would be an upgrade on Manchester United’s current options.

The French-born winger could help them bounce back strongly and push for UEFA Champions League qualification next season. A club of their stature cannot afford to finish in the bottom half of the table, and Manchester United must bring in players who are capable of guiding them back to where they belong.

Mbeumo fancies Manchester United move

The 25-year-old is reportedly attracted to joining one of the best clubs in the world like Manchester United as well. He will want to compete at a high level and fight for trophies. While Manchester United have failed to secure Champions League qualification for the next season, they have a formidable project and the resources to buy quality players. They might return to the Champions League soon.

It will be interesting to see how the situation develops over the next few weeks. The reported £60 million offer is a substantial one, and Manchester United will hope that Brentford agree to sell Mbeumo.

The 25-year-old is entering the peak years of his career, and this is the right time for him to move on and try out a new challenge. Joining Manchester United could take him to a whole new level. Playing alongside top-quality players at Old Trafford could help him improve further.

He will certainly hope that the two clubs can finalise an agreement quickly. Manchester United have secured the signature of Matheus Cunha, and they should look to sign a striker and a right-sided winger now. Mbeumo could be the ideal addition for them on the right flank.
