Arsenal enter Rayan Vitor Simplicio Rocha chase

Arsenal are reportedly ready to battle rivals Liverpool and Tottenham in the race for the signature of Rayan Vitor Simplicio Rocha.

According to a report from TEAMtalk, Arsenal are keen on signing Rayan Vitor Simplicio Rocha this summer. They are looking to move quickly as they look to beat rivals Liverpool and Tottenham to the signature of the Vasco da Gama attacking sensation.

Rayan broke into the Brazilian club’s first team in 2023 and has only gone from strength to strength since. The teenage sensation has established himself as a key figure in the team, and he has featured in a total of 48 matches. The 18-year-old has contributed towards six goals so far.

He has made quite a name for himself with his strong physical presence, killer instincts in front of the goal and great off-the-ball movement. While the Brazilian wonderkid prefers playing as a number nine, he is equally effective as a winger on either flank.

The teenager, who has drawn comparisons to the legendary Brazilian striker Adriano, finds himself on the wishlist of some of the biggest clubs in Europe. Liverpool and Tottenham are two English clubs that have been scouting him this season as they gear up to make a move.

Premier League giants scouts Rayan

Tottenham Hotspur have focused on signing young players with massive potential in recent windows, and he is considered an ideal fit for their project. Meanwhile, Liverpool want to freshen things up in the final third with Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah’s futures uncertain.

While the Reds will look to sign a world-class striker who can help cope with their potential absence, they also want to prepare for the long run by signing Rayan. However, both Spurs and the Merseyside club could face significant competition from Arsenal, who have also entered the race for the teenage sensation.

Arsenal push hard to sign the Brazilian sensation

Scout Pablo Xavier, who joined the Gunners from Real Madrid back in 2014, has been working hard to find some of the top talents from Brazil. He has identified Rayan as a top talent who could help them in the long run.

The North London outfit have added the Vasco da Gama forward on their wishlist following his recommendation. Arsenal are looking to move quickly as they are aware of the tempting release clause in his contract and the increasing interest from across Europe.

The 18-year-old could be available for less than £15 million this summer, which has caught the Gunners’ attention, and they are working hard to trigger it as soon as possible. Since there is no shortage of interest in him, they will have to convince him that moving to the Emirates is best for his career and development.
