A host of Premier League sides have been dealt a blow in the pursuit of Kenan Yildiz, with the Juventus playmaker eager to stay put in Turin.
According to a report by Graeme Bailey on TBR Football, Kenan Yildiz is not in a rush to leave Juventus, which would deal a blow to the hopes of a host of Premier League sides. Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United have kept tabs on the Turkish international’s situation, and many more clubs are looking closely at an opportunity to sign the 19-year-old talent.
Kenan Yildiz made a calculated decision to leave Bayern Munich and opt to join Juventus amid plenty of interest from elsewhere. Only still 19, the Turkish talent has become one of the key players in Turin, first under former manager Thiago Motta and now with Igor Tudor, who has shown plenty of signs to use him wisely.
Yildiz, who was seen as a natural midfielder was used as a winger under Motta, which did draw a lot of attention towards the player. New Juventus boss Tudor has so far used him as an attacking midfielder, as the Turkish international scored last weekend to hand the new manager his first win.
Either way, Kenan Yildiz is now seen as an attacking player in a front-three position, as he is capable of playing across the line. There were some big Premier League clubs keeping close tabs on him around the January window, including Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United.
There is further interest from Aston Villa, which could see many of those sides come in with an approach in the summer. Juventus are not worried about what transpires for the attacker with 11 goal contributions this season, as he is tied until 2029, which could potentially see the club keep him or ask for an exorbitant price.
Yildiz keen on Juventus stay
Yildiz may have big links in the market, although the 19-year-old attacker is not pushing for a move away from Turin. He is leaning towards staying with Juventus for the time being and exploring his game further under Tudor, which will have come as a big blow to the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United among others.
Any of those sides would have loved the idea of having the Serie A wonderkid in their team, as he does make up for an attacker’s profile these teams probably lack. For now, the Turkish international is looking to stay put, although things could still change around the summer depending on how the player feels about his future.
