Atletico Madrid line up Antony swoop, bid prepared

Atletico Madrid are reportedly keen on signing 25-year-old Brazilian attacker Antony from Manchester United in the summer transfer window.

Antony is currently on loan at Real Betis, and he has done quite well for the Andalusian outfit. According to Fichajes, La Liga giants Atletico Madrid are formulating a €75 million package to sign the player from Manchester United in the summer transfer window.

Antony is unwanted at Manchester United, and the Premier League giants are unlikely to stand in his way in the summer. The Red Devils will look to sell the player and recoup a substantial amount of money for him. If Atletico Madrid are willing to pay €75 million for him, it could be a great deal for all parties.

Antony needs to leave Manchester United

Anthony will be hoping to play for a big club, and Atletico Madrid are certainly one of the biggest clubs in the world. The opportunity to join them will be quite exciting for him. The Brazilian internaitonal has not been able to showcase his qualities at Manchester United, and a fresh start would be ideal for him.

The 25-year-old winger has adapted well to Spanish football, and he could be a key player for Atletico Madrid. The player is entering the peak years of his career, and he needs to join a club where he will play regularly. It remains to be seen whether Atletico Madrid can provide him with game-time assurances.

A return to Manchester United would not be a good idea for the player, and he is unlikely to play regularly with them. Leaving Old Trafford permanently would be ideal for all parties. Meanwhile, Manchester United need to improve their attacking options, and they will hope to use the proceeds from Antony’s departure into the playing squad.

Apart from Antony, the Red Devils are likely to sell Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho permanently at the end of the season. Manchester United will need to bring in wide players in the summer, who will contribute with goals and creativity. Meanwhile, Antony will look to sort out his long-term future and focus on his football once again.
