Liverpool want £30 million for Ben Doak amid Crystal Palace, Everton links

Crystal Palace and Everton will have to fork out £30 million to sign Liverpool attacking sensation Ben Doak.

Ben Doak has put in some impressive performances in the Championship this season, and his work hasn’t gone unnoticed, as multiple Premier League clubs are interested in signing the Liverpool sensation.

According to a report from Football Insider, Crystal Palace and Everton are both keen on signing the Scottish international, and they could acquire his services for £30 million. The Reds may consider cashing in on him to boost their transfer budget for the summer.

Doak made the move to the Merseyside club in the summer of 2022 from Celtic. He went up the ranks at some pace and got promoted to their first team ahead of the ongoing campaign. There wasn’t any room in Arne Slot’s team, as a result, the Reds ended up sending him out on loan to Middlesbrough.

He had an exceptional first half with the Championship outfit as he contributed towards 10 goals in his 24 outings before picking up a serious injury. His performances even helped him become a regular in the Scottish national team.

While he is set to return to his parent club, Doak might not have a future at Liverpool, as quite a few top English clubs are looking to sign him. The Reds do consider him a top talent, but they could let him leave for the right price amidst interest from rivals Everton and Crystal Palace.

Doak could leave Liverpool in the summer

While a move to the other half of Merseyside would be a massive surprise, David Moyes is a big admirer of the 19-year-old. He has had his eyes on him ever since he made the move to England back in 2022. Moyes wants more firepower ahead of next season, and he feels the Scottish sensation could be a great acquisition in the long run.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace, who were keen on signing him during the winter transfer window, could make a return in the summer. The Eagles depth on the flanks and with Eberechi Eze’s future uncertain, investing in a young talent like Doak certainly makes a lot of sense.

With Liverpool ready to offload him for a fee of around £30 million, Everton and Palace could go up against each other for his signature in the summer.
