Tottenham Hotspur are ready to battle it out for the signature of Dinamo Zagreb attacking sensation Luka Stojkovic.
Luka Stojkovic’s impressive performances at Dinamo Zagreb have caught the attention of quite a few top clubs from across Europe. According to 24 Sata via Sport Witness, Tottenham are one of the clubs that are keen on signing the Croatian youth international.
The North London club have been keeping a close eye on him and could make a move to sign him this summer. But Spurs have to compete with Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, Napoli, and Atletico Madrid, who are also interested in the 21-year-old winger.
Stojkovic joined the Croatian giants in the summer of 2023 after coming up the ranks and making a name for himself while playing for NK Lokomotiva. While the debut season did not go according to plan because of a serious knee injury, he has slowly established himself as a key figure in the team.
He has featured in a total of 27 matches this season while contributing towards seven goals. The 21-year-old was even involved in six of their Champions League games. While he prefers playing as a left winger, he can feature on the opposite flank as well as a number ten.
Tottenham are plotting a raid on Dinamo Zagreb
His impressive performances, along with his massive potential, have put him on the radar of Tottenham. The North London club have made a major change to their transfer policy since the arrival of the now-under-fire Ange Postecoglou. Spurs have focused on signing young stars who can help them in the long run, and they will continue in a similar fashion in the summer.
They see Stojkovic as a perfect fit for their project. His ability to cover both the flanks and the number ten role makes him a valuable addition to the squad. Although Tottenham have been tracking the Croat since the start of the season, they face stiff competition, with Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, Napoli, and Atletico Madrid all keeping a close eye on him.
All four European giants consider him a great prospect and could go hard to sign him. They will continue to monitor him until the end of the season before making a final decision on his future. Meanwhile, Dinamo Zagreb have no intentions of selling the youngster.
The Croatian giants are all set to part ways with Petar Sucic, who will be joining Inter Milan, and they do not want to lose out on another top talent in the same window. But with Tottenham’s interest looking concrete, Dinamo Zagreb will find it very difficult to keep hold of Stojkovic.
