Tottenham are considering him as a potential replacement for Cristian Romero. The Argentine is assessing his options ahead of the summer amid links to Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid, as one of those opportunities would be tempting for the defender ahead of the summer.

Tottenham have considered Ousmane Diomande as a potential replacement option for Romero, while they gave other names like Jarrad Branthwaite and Jonathan Tah. Will Tottenham sign Milan Skriniar?

Among the many options the report mentions as a potential replacement for Romero, Skriniar might be the most achievable target on paper. The 30-year-old is not expected to continue his career in Turkey unless there’s an exceptional offer on the table.

The ideal choice for the defender would be to play in one of the top five leagues in Europe, as Tottenham might have some appeal irrespective of Champions League football. For now, there’s a big chance for Spurs to land the PSG star, although much will depend on the Parisians’ asking price.
