Everton, Crystal Palace and West Ham United are all interested in acquiring the services of Udinese forward Lorenzo Lucca.
Lorenzo Lucca’s impressive performances for Udinese have put him on the radar of quite a few top clubs from across Europe. According to a report from TBR, Everton, Crystal Palace, and West Ham United are all keen on signing the 6ft 7in Italian striker as they look to reinforce their attack.
Lucca joined Udinese in the summer of 2023 on a season-long loan. On the back of his performances, the move became permanent last summer. Over the last two seasons, he has featured in 70 matches for the Serie A outfit and has contributed towards 27 goals.
The 24-year-old striker has 12 goals and two assists in his 31 outings across competitions. He has been a standout performer for his club, and it has helped him break into the Italian national team.
Football talent scout Jacek Kulig has likened Lucca to Italian legend Luca Toni. Standing as tall as Peter Crouch, he excels in the air, boasts a strong physical presence, and has a keen eye for goals. These qualities, combined with his consistent performances this season, have attracted significant interest.
Lucca could be heading to the Premier League
Everton, Crystal Palace and West Ham are all interested in signing the Italian international this summer. With Dominic Calvert-Lewin looking all set to leave the Toffees, they do need to bring in a top-quality striker to replace him.
Meanwhile, with Michail Antonio and Danny Ings both in the twilight of their careers and their contracts running out, it’s clear why the Hammers are pushing to secure Lucca’s signature. Despite having signed Eddie Nketiah last summer, the Eagles need more quality up top, and the Italian striker is quite high on their wishlist.
All three Premier League clubs have been doing their homework on the player. They have scouted him over the past month and are convinced he could help their cause. With his current deal running until the summer of 2028, Udinese can certainly look to bag a significant fee. As far as the player is concerned, he wants to try a new challenge and is open to a move away from the Serie A.
